8 Dental Blogs That Hit the Mark!

You have a tooth ache, thinking of trying those new veneers or need a root canal?  Today, we can do so much investigating and information gathering before we ever step foot into the dentist’s office.  We can Google local dentists, watch videos on YouTube or read up on all of the procedures directly online.  That is why incorporating a blog on your website is critical.  It will allow your practice to begin building trust and engagement with your potential clients before you ever see them.

The main issue, with any blog, is that as a company you have to commit to posting regularly in order for it to be effective.  If someone looks at your blog and sees that you have only one post or have posted three months ago, they will wonder why.  Therefore, our suggestion at Maverick Social Media is that once you start blogging, you should commit to posting new content at least one time per week.  It will both allow you to establish some credit with your peers, but allow you to build an archive of reflections, information and content that can soon become your own version of World Book’s Dental Encyclopedia!

About.com – http://dentistry.about.com/ Each tab has a relevant category assigned to it.  Prevention, education, conditions and even child dental issues.

Promenade Court Dental http://dentaldude.blogspot.com/  Like the short messages, as it keeps the engagement of the reader.  This approach allows for a visitor to the blog to scan several topics at once.  There is a list of other relevant blogs to the right of the page, which can give additional resources to those who are looking for it.
